teamWord is a fun and interactive program for early learners, ages 4-8, that combines movement and literacy.  teamWord is an organization created for the purpose of helping young children learn through play.  We explore math, science, technology, engineering, and art through books, movement, and activities.
Our team visits libraries, community centers, and early childhood centers to inspire young minds through literacy, movement, and play.

The Game

Our 30-minute sessions include a warm up, an age appropriate story, an activity, and a cool down.

Our Founder


Maddie Priebe started teamWord in 2017.  Maddie’s love of learning, her passion for teamwork and leadership, and her commitment to community service, led her to create teamWord.  The teamWord program, for early learners

ages 4-8, explores math, science, technology, engineering, and art through books, movement, and play.

Through teamWord, Maddie combines the values of teamwork, she has learned through playing team sports, and her desire to make a positive contribution to her community.   She set out to focus on promoting early childhood literacy in the community while emphasizing the positive effects of movement on learning.  She hopes to inspire young children to explore new interests discovered through TeamWord.
